Okay, so there is no photo for today but can you feel the calmness come over me now? I have the new catalog in my hands and I have spent some wonderful time with it, drooling over new sets, mesmerized by the layout and not to mention the beautiful cover girls! Come on, you have to agree it is GOJUS!!!!!!
You are not going to want to miss anything in there.......... from the IN COLORS, the pretties, the build a brad, the scallop punch and oh, did I mention all the new wonderful stamp set? So, I start going through the catalog and the way it is set up just coordinates- all the colors are kind of based off the IN COLORS and how they work with our current colors. Anyways, I start a list to make my color combinations, I mean, I usually use my color coach (one of the best things I have and yet so simple) to help me coordinate my colors but this catty has some great color combinations........... I had to go and write them all out. So, now I am ready for a new year of cards in awesome combinations.
I am going out of town this weekend and guess what will be accompanying me? Oh yeah- the catty and a nice big notepad! I started my list and the first time around I had 15 sets that I want......... but you know it will be more once I start to see all those beautiful cards on SCS. That doesn't count all the punches, doo dads, chipboard, and designer paper- Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there is so much beautiful paper for those that scrapbook.
Okay- now I guess I should go............ as Jan Tink calls it I have New Catalog Brain Haze (NCBH) and have to do something worth doing. Look forward to seeing you all at the Open House on the July 9th- stop in and we can relax and have some fun!

Another one!
As I promised, here is another card I made with the new set of stamps that I have. I love this big swirl, it can be seen as vines, or just doodling. Then there is the little flower and the big flower. I am using the kind word that I layered on a oval. It is actually quite simple, you could do a one sheet wonder of this and then make 4 of these cards in no time at all. I wanted to use some pink or navy ribbon but.......... guess what? I had neither color, how sad is that? I may have to place another order for grosgrain before the end of the month. Sounds like they are going to sell it in smaller amounts for a "little" less than it is right now.

Baroque Motif
I figured I better post a picture of some stuff that I have done with this new set of stamps. This is the only set in our preview catty that I ordered since I knew that there would be more in the Idea Book when it comes out July 1st! This set is called ... well Baroque Motif and the color is Guava. It is basically a large swirly vine, the little flowers, the circular flower and there is also a square design, along with the word cherish and kind. It is a bit different set of stamp than I am used to but I just like the elegance of it. I will do some more with it and post again. Hope you enjoyed the preview of the set! Have a great weekend too!

I AM BACK!!!!!
First I have to apologize for taking 10 days to post........ imagine many of you figured I had skipped out and was not coming back anymore but I am not. Just a lot going on and have not had time to do any stamping or crafting of any sort. I am sorry............ no, actually, if you all left me comments I would at least know you were here and wanted more!!!!!!
So, anyways we went camping this weekend, beautiful weather! We had a great time, cooking marshmallows over the file, grilling hamburger/hotdogs and just visiting by the fire until the stroke of midnight! The boys enjoyed it........ and thanks to Denise and her son for stopping out Friday night to hang with us.
So, here are some photos....... unfortunately not all mine. This one here is a shaker card that I got in a spring fling swap. Rebecca Grohall made this card with City of David and it is so beautiful and so I had to post it. I do like this set but never bought it......... something to think about now I guess. Although, this had to be lots of work, more than I might like to do for 40-50 cards. Thanks Rebecca!
This picture here is of one of the stamp camp projects that I had for this last Friday which got cancelled because I only had a couple RSVP so I will save for the fall. Hope everyone likes it! I am going to reschedule the camp for the fall so that more people can get to do this. This is a 3D canvas wall hanging. It would make a great gift for a friend but done in another theme you could give as a holiday gift, wedding gift, with pets, the possibilities are endless. The canvas can be purchased at any art store and I used my SU inkpads to just rub all over the larger one and then in a coordinating color on the ones that are smaller. Any questions, just post and I will get with you. It really was easy and seriously only took me about 1/2hr to finish it.
Well that is it for today. I will post a picture later or tomorrow of a card I made with one of my new preview sets!
See ya! Heidi

Graduation Cards!
My niece is graduating and so I felt it was time to make her a card but to be honest with you I had not one single graduation stamp. I couldn't believe it when I went though my stamp sets, nothing! So I thought for a bit and remembered seeing one of the sale a bration stamps used for this exact reason- and so I combined a couple thoughts in my head (JanTinks) and came up with this one. I made it red and black because it is elegant and stunning. Pllus it just seemed like my niece. I used the floral background- who would have thought that using that stamp with black could look so good (at least I love it) and just accent with a background of red and then mat onto a black card. Some simple ribbon and the perfect sentiment and wha la......... a graduation card. I think that she will like it.
