This sweet little card was made for one of my staff's daughter's birthday and I am so loving this card. She said her daughter liked red, green and oranges- not sure if she meant all of them together but I could not resist when I pulled out my paperpack and remembered this SU DP. I wanted the card to be girly with flowers b/c well, I have boys so I don't make them special order for many girls. She also asked for her name to be on it- so now I have to wait and see what her daughter thinks of the card.
The image is a Sarah Kay of course and colored with my copics. The little felt flowers are SU as is the striped grosgrain. I added a couple dew drops to give it a little dimension on the one side and ta-da! I do love this little sketch too and will be using it again.
Thanks for stopping in!

Tilda in Pink n Green
Tilda with ladybug and copics can be purchased at 7kidscollegefund
So this little Tilda is from the newest collection of Magnolia Butterflies. I actually used Mojo Monday Sketch #80 as I just love her sketches. It at least gave me something to follow as my brain was a little foggy. The card is actually going to be entered in the Just Magnolia Challenge though, they wanted us to use pink and green.
The DP is from one of my DCWV stacks and I can't recall the name of it b/c I split it with a friend and tossed the front flap. The base of the card is SU certainly celery and the grosgrain is rose. I colored her with my copics of course and I can honestly say I love how her dress came out. I am still tring to fine tune the whole shading thing.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Your're on my mind at Queen Kat
This here card is one that I designed for Queen Kat designs for my April design team spot. It is the swirly tree and I used the dew drops on the tree to give it a little color and add some depth to the card. The DP is Cosmo Cricket with a little SU real red and carmel. I figured this little tree is pretty versatile in that you could stamp it in any color to change the season or theme and then add things to it. I have some small little mittens I thought would be cute hanging on it for the winter months (which by the way I am trying to forget!). Sorry it is short but we have the funeral today so doing this ahead of time. Check out Queen Kats goodies!

Fix Your Eyes
Good Day all- I hope this Sunday brings you all Sunshine and Happiness!
This little sweet Tilda I got from Kelly over at KLSNS, they call her Tilda with an umbrella but when I first saw her I thought it was odd that they would have included this one in the spring bunch. I mean, it almost looks like fall or thanksgiving(ish) to me. But alas- I went ahead and colored her up. The DP is a couple designs from the hostess pack that is out right now and I love them. I wanted to get away from pink (GASP, I know!) and chose a blue as it went with the feeling I wanted to have this card represent. I actually made it a couple weeks ago and forgot about it too- how could I?
The little pearls were also sent to me by Kelly and can be purchased in the store! I hope you will go and check it out- she has discounts on Magnolia's, free shipping and all the new Magnolias to pre-order. ALS0- I am hosting a challenge over on PCP for Kelly and all you have to do is make a card and embellishing it with items that you use your cuttlebug to make. Think of all the possibilities! Plus, there is a prize of a FREE Magnolia and a FREE cuttlebug folder! Check us out!

Earth has no sorrow
Bear with me this weekend, I am going to try and get a few posts ahead because my hubby's uncled passed away last night and so I want to have free time to spend with family and such this weekend. I just hope I get the posts right for the right days! Yikees........
Today's card was made for someone else that lost someone very close to her, it has been mailed and I hope that she enjoys it. I am going to submit it for the StampSomething Challenge of showers or flowers card. It is made with a SU set and this is one of my favorites because you can use it for sympathy cards but the flowers are so simple they can be used for wedding, birthday or anything. Just a pretty simple set.
It is a really basic card, cuttlebug embossed with a couple folders but overall very simple but I think the message is there.
Have a good one!

Just Magnolia
I thought I would participate in a brand new challenge called Just Magnolia and use the sketch they offered up. It is kind of open for interpretation I think but I had a good time with it. I stamped my image with Momento Tuxedo Black ink on Neenah paper and then colored her with my copics. The rest was really left up to the layering of the SU designer paper. I have so many of these DP packs and I need to start using them more often.
Have a Blessed Day!
I apologize for making it so short today but you are probably thinking- not really, it is ok, the less I have to read the more blogs I an get through! mmmwwwwhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa! But here is the sketch anyways, give it a try and join us!
Have a Blessed Day!

Two Scoops or more... for sure!
Oh another sketch challenge down for this week girls! I was so creating the other night. I wanted to use a couple stamps that I had gotten back in March and still not inked up and this is the first one. I used the sketch from the Friday Sketcher group to make the card but the image is a Whipper Snapper. I used the sketch but made it a longer card, to fit into a business size envelope because when I saw the sketch that was my first thought.
So I stamped the image and colored it in with my copics- that little face is so darned cute isn't it? I used SU DP for the base of the card along with a little bit of kraft and real red. The scallop edge is done with the SU punch. I did paper pierce the real red piece to give it a little pop- I find it amazing how different things look when you pierce them or emboss them! Don't you? The sentiment is actually from one of my litte CC designs sets.
Well come and join us over on Friday Sketch Challenge!

You got Mail!
Happy tuesday ladies! I hope this is a good week for you all- we are having rain here in Michigan after a beautiful weekend- I think that I was hoping for more.
Anyways, my project today was to participate in a challenge and it is called Cute Card Thursday . I have been trying to participate in more of these as they have fabulous sketches and color challenges and I do well to have direction! LOL.
So the card is stamped on Neenah paper which I have found is absolutely the best paper to use for my copic, ink is Momento tuxedo black and then of course I used my copics to color her in. The paper came in one of my small DCWV paper stacks and I really wanted to stick with brown, orange and pink which is not usually a combo that I like but I do like how she turned out. (Ok, I am still laughing at myself ............ ) I added a prima and a few dew drops.

Tilda box of cards
I hope today bring warm days and springtime feelings for everyone. I know I am really prayin this weekend will be wonderful.
Today's project is kind of a botched project that actually turned out cute! I wanted to make one of those top note purses (my friend Sue made me one and it is beautiful!) but I didn't have the top note die so I substituted one of my curved rectangle nestie- which work! Then I went to do the top of the purse and realized I do not have a really large scallop circle die of any sort, what to do? So instead of a purse it turned into a little box- and I set my little Tilda with clovers which you can get over at KLSNS right now on the box. Now you might think that it is a St. Pat stamp but look how sweet she is with the pink and yellow flowers and I love her hat!
The next thing I did was think about papers that I had to coordinate with the paper on the front of this and I found this cute little birdie paper in my DCWV paperstack. I wanted something simple and versatile
for little gift tags/cards. So I made them all the same and popped 4 little note cards in the box. I thought it was a cute little gift for someone.

Hope Happens
Oh boy- I just realize it has been 3 days since I posted last! That is awful.......... I am sorry. It has been a little crazy and it jut slipped away. I need to get better about posting ahead of time and then real life would not intervene on my blogging! LOL!~ I want to say THANK You so much for all the wonderful comments on my flower pot card- it really was so nice to read them all!
Today's card was actually made for the Friday sketcher challenge and well, because I did not post for 3 days I did not get it done in time so I am going to post it for the Stamp Something challenge which is to use yellow, green and blue. I used a sweet little Tilda holding some wild flowers and colored her with copics. I really wanted this card to be light, soft so I picked up the colors from the paper, which by the way is a sheet of paper that I have had a long long time (and many of you probably have had it at one time too!). It is so pretty. Added a couple splashes of bling and done. I am thinking I will give it to my friend that I am an angel for.

A pocket of Flowers to you
I am sure you have all been seeing the flower pot pocket cards and I figured I would give them a try. I tell you they are so easy and what a perfect project for spring! So this card is based in SU cocoa and the flowers are cut with my CB mixed flower die using a variety of designer and solid papers. I added a few dew drops to the centers and a couple sprigs of green, punched with my MS branch punch.
I am going to post this card for the Cute Card Thursday as they wanted you to use pink and brown and then the Stamp something Challenge where they wanted you to use different shapes. I figured when I completed the project and then went through my challenge list it fit for both. I hope that is alright!
The inside of the card or shall I say the pocket is very simple. I actually only attached 3 of the flowers to the tag that is pulled out and left the other 3 on the pot- I just liked the way it looked when I was finished with it. The message is short, sweet and to the point- it is a God's Blessings from SU.
I hope you enjoy it and give em a try! I got my directions from Stephanie

Best is yet to be at Queen Kat
Today's card is one that I designed for Queen Kat Designs as the quest designer for April. The Swirly tree is stamped with wild wasabi and matted with the same. The dot background is stamped with Baha Breeze and matted on blue bayou. At first I did not like this card, but then it started to grow on me because it is bright and cheerful and as a matter of fact I sent it out to a dear friend for her birthday and I hope she likes it!
Sorry it is so short today but recovering from the weekend and feel a little behind in things. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and great week to look forward to!

Easter Treats
I hope once again, you are all doing well this Sunday morning. My project for today was to make a little gift card holder. So this little purse is embossed using a faux leather/suede look. I used my versamarker and juiced up the front of the person, put clear embossing poweder on it and then took my bone folder and made lines- then heated it up! When it dried it looked like this picture (hoping you can see it well enough!)
The little chicks are from the new Easter Magnolia stamps and I got them from Kelly over at

Embossed Love
I started to work on some Mother's Day cards this week in order to get ahead and then I had some requests so once I got started I could not stop. I am loving this color combination and of course, how could I not love the simplicity of these cards using the CB folders? These are just a must and I am thrilled to be using them so much!
The first two cards showcase Garden whimsy from SU with Pink Piroquette and Baha Breeze. Very simple cards, I added a little bit of stickles to the wings of the butterfly to make it shimmer which you can not tell but it is so pretty!
The fore card is made with Pink Piroquette from SU and white cardstock which is embossed with my CB folder. I added a little pink and white polka dot ribbon and sentiment and done. The Upsy Daisy is from SU as well as the oval circle punch. I love this card b/c I love the set and it is clean and crisp. The card to the right is made very similar to the first and even a bit more simple in that I just mounted it to white cardstock added a strip of ribbon and wha la! What I did with the flowers is I stamped in PP and then in craft white just set off a little bit. I love the look. The card to the left is made with the one of the SU hostess sets and I colored it with my copics, layered it my embossed cuttlebug slip and added the sentiments. The image and matte are done with my spellbinders.
I hope you all have a blessed weekend and that the signs of spring will show!

Delight in Life
Happy Wednesday all!
Today's card is made using one of the Sarah Kay images Picnic of Daises from 7kidscollegefund. The image is stamped with the Dew Drop Tuxedo black on Neenah cardstock which I love working with. It is honestly one of the best cardstocks to work with the copics, no bleeding and the images are so crisp. If you've not tried it- give it a try!
I colored my image with R32, R35, Y21,YR24, and G24. I am still trying to perfect that shadowing and hope it is actually getting better. The cardstock is from one of my old DCWV stacks, I feel like those stacks are never ending. I have been trying to share some of these with friends because I think that I really have way too much paper! Yikes! (Denise- have you used all of yours? ) The grosgrain is SU. Can you see my new fiskars punch? Oh it is too cute and fun to use. I got mine at Joann's. And then to finish it off- my K&Co charm that my dear friend Sue got me (thanks Sue- I told you I would use it!).
Have a great day!

Sending Flowers
I want to thank Kat over at Queen Kat Designs for inviting me to be a guest designer for the month of April. It was a lot of fun to play with the toys and put together some fun items for her. Today's card uses the dots background stamp. I stamped the polka dots on pretty in pink SU cardstock and layered it with some "retired" DSP from SU as well. I then used my cuttlebug and the flowers die to cut out a variety of flowers and mixed and matched them. I really wanted this card to be springy and showcase the polka dots and they went so well with it. I added the little charm and wha-la! Fun card to give to a friend.
This is short today- it was a busy weekend and I have soooooooo much to catch up on.

Hunny Bunny
Today I wanted to showcase the CC Designs set Hunny Bunny that I got from Kelly over at KLSNS. This set is so sweet for Easter but you know it can be used with many of the other CC Design sets as well. Also, what about the Magnolia clouds and flowers. I needed to finish up a couple of Easter cards so I thought I would make it Easter- the sentiment here comes with this set, so does the little carrot he is sitting on- is that the cutest? My paper is a DCWV paper pack but it is because I don't have any BG that is spring or summery looking, all mine is dark, fall, and valentin (ish) so thought this would work best. I hope you like him and have a fabulous Sunday all.

Wish for Balloons
Today I am hosting a challenge over on PCP for Kelly at KLStampinNScrappin so I hope you will come and join me. You can win prizes too! The challenge is to pull out those cuttlebug folders and use them to emboss your embellishments that you use on your cards vs using them as a background. I love using these folders and find they make things look so differently when they are embossed.
This card is made with Tilda and her puppy and she is sitting on an mini-envelope that I cut out of my sizzix and then used the SWISS DOT CB folder. The paper is Basic Grey Cupcake with the balloons in barely banana and wild wasabi.
I hope you'll join me over on PCP and participate in the challenge for some prizes! Don't know where to go? Go to www.papercraftplanet.com and then look for the KLSNS group and join there!
