Good Morning! Isn't that little bird so darned cute? It is a FREE digi image from Fresh Squeezed Stamps for the challenge this week. I think he is so sweet and I had to whip up a last (I keep saying that) Christmas card. What do you think? If you like it, can you stop over HERE and "Like" my card to increase my chances of winning a free stamp set. Thanks in advance for the vote. Thanks and have a great New Year.

Mr and Mrs........
Hello! It is the post Christmas holiday blues (or shall I say recovery). We are still not done, I will be having a handful of guests here this weekend and then we have a wedding. So I had to make this wedding card and thought I would follow the Cheery Lynn challenge again this week (lace). So I put some real lace along the side and then added a heart that kind of looks lacy. Of course I had to add some pearls as well. The lacy heart, the bottom of the matted heart and the flourish are all Cheery Lynn. Have a great weekend!

Spirit of Christmas
Hello Dear Friends,
I just wanted to take this time to say Merry Christmas to you and your families. This has to be my favorite time of the years since I know the family will all be home and together and we will get to enjoy one another's company. I think that having my son off to college the last 2.5 years has changed my perspective, although I have always loved the Christmas holidays. I have also always tried to incorporate the true meaning of Christmas which was taught to me as a young child as well as the importance of the spirit of giving. I thoroughly love the looks on their faces when they get gifts that they didn't even ask for and didn't even know they wanted (but apparently did!) and when they get to give and receive of one another, it just warms my heart. What is your favorite part of the holidays?
This picture is one of my mantle, I changed up my decor this year and incorporated silver, glass, white and bulbs. I struggled so much with getting it all together but am happy with it now. Merry Christmas!

Vintage Holidays
Merry Christmas Eve to all the wonderful ladies that stop in. I have to work this morning and then we will be spending the day with family and of course eating wonderful yummies! But last night I had some time to myself and so I decided to make a last minute card. I wanted it to be vintage and non traditional colors even though I did bring in the red- it has a wonderful splash of blue and tan. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas!

Last minute
Good morning, just getting some last minute things in order this weekend: final groceries, wrapping, etc. So I thought I would just post this card which is one of my last ones that I made. I do really love hanging the flags on these cards, cute and simple. I hope that you are all ready for Christmas and can start to enjoy family.

Finishing up.......
Hello, so this last weekend I did finish up all my Christmas cards, reluctantly I might add. I am still having fun making Christmas cards and tags, don't really want to stop. But then again we will be working on Valentine's soon, right? So this card is one of the last ones I made, I used a little chipboard snowman that I used TH Crackle paint (these came from the $1 bin at Michael's). The little flower was my first attempt at using the spellbinders blossom that I got......... still need to work on this though. So anyways- hope your cards are coming along and they will all be out on time. If not, start on New Years Cards (that is what I did last year.... LOL!).
Have a great day!

Gina's Design..........
Gina's Designs Design Team!!!!!
I am so excited to announce that I have been invited to join Gina's Designs team. I can not wait to get started playing with and altering chipboard. For all of you that have stuck with me you know I love to get grungy with it, making it shabby, inking it and distressing it. Oh how I love chipboard and Oh how excited I am. I hope you will come back and see my creations after the New Year (well come back before that though!)
And just a little bit of holiday cheer. Here are a few more of my Christmas tags that I have been making.

Home Decorating
Are you addicted to pinterest? I know I have been having a wonderful time getting home decorating ideas and this is one of them. I bought all my bulbs at Michael's (glittery santa suit balls, glittery gold stars, and cylindrical ornaments.)
This is what the hanging ornaments looks like from below. As you can see this is all started from the wreath that is tucked up above the lights: easy peasy to make and should be easy to store. Hope this gives you some inspiration.

Picture This!
Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I did some shopping this weekend in an attempt to complete it and nope, still not done. Then I worked on Christmas cards so I can hopefully get these out in the mail this Monday. Some people will get photos so I thought it was perfect for the Just Rite Picture This challenge going on right now. I used some of my old SU designer papers and the simple but perfect Just Rite sentiment. Then I can tuck the photo into the pocket along with a gift card or whatever I choose to send in this holiday photo card.
Have a Great Day!

BELIEVE
Hello, I am so glad you stopped in because I have not posted in a week! I have been working on holiday "stuff" and although I have done some crafting not much else is getting done: hence the lack of posting.
So I thought I would bring to you this little altered jar. I really just covered it with some BG holiday papers, added the Believe sentiment (Tim Holtz) some ribbon, snow and tinsel and good to go! This picture probably does not do it justice as I think it is just so pretty and vintage- a perfect spot for a gift card don't you think?

Some More Tags!
Hello and glad you stopped in today. I have been making lots of tags again, just can't get enough of them. I know I should be working on Christmas cards, in about 3 weeks I will be finding that I am short on cards. Are you all done with your cards? I always like to get mine in the mail within the first 2 weeks of December. So we will see. This little tag I made for the skipping stones sketch challenge: the background I stamped with my musical background stamp and then added a floret made with my TH die. I love these things and made up a handful of them the other day to have on hand..... and I am gonna use them all up!
Happy holiday planning!

Mantle Decorating
Preparing for the Holidays!
Happy Thursday everyone! This last week I started decorating the house in preparation for the holidays. I started by doing some shopping so I could make some changes in decor. My mantle was the first area that I wanted to change. Typically I have cute little stocking hangers and some basic candles. I decided to change to silver and white so this is the far left: a glass jar filled with these awesome silver balls. Some of them have glass pieces on them, others have sequins: and I mixed a couple of green ones in there. I added this little white bird to contrast the silver. There are also fresh greens, pointsettia and lights. I hope you are having fun decorating! Heidi

Ok, Ok........... Happy Tuesday my friends! I just wanted to show you a couple of holiday gift tags that I made this last week. I am having so much fun with tags and my family loves to get gifts with these on them: they all want to keep and take them home. I think a "re-do" box is in order, year after year! I would cringe if anyone scrunched them up and tossed them. YIKES! I pitty the person that did that to me. (hee hee!)
Both of these are made with ODBD-

Pink and Glittery
Just a quick post, I need to work on some projects to get posted.... wait, this is a project right? I made this cute little pink, white and silver Deco Mesh wreath for my SIL (she luvs pink, sound familiar?). I gave it to her on Thanksgiving and I think that she liked it. I had hubby pain the metal frame pink and then I went to town with the mesh, the glitter was a falling all over my kitchen. Today when I swept I found more glitter.... the little bells and leaves all were glittery: it was truly a pretty wreath. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got some of your holiday "schtuff" done. I have felt so slow this year, having a hard time getting my stuff to look the way I want it to! UGH...... so back to work tomorrow. Have a great week!

Country Tags
Good morning, hope you are all recovering well from Thankgiving Feasts! I know I am feeling very satisfied with all the yummies I had. So good.
Today I would like to share some quick little country (ish) Christmas tags. I love to make tags and then I also love to give them away. These were made with some cute little papers and then of course Cheery Lynn dies following their challenge. You should come join us!

A Wish for You!
This mornings card is another vintage one I made this weekend. I just love the burlap ribbon that I picked up and then added a little red grosgrain to it. That burlap is some great stuff, great for countryish or vintagy cards. One more Christmas card down ladies!
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Joyful Christmas
Hello! This card was one that I made this weekend with some sweet little vintage images. I love these little things, they make card making fun, quick and well they are so cute. I just left the image as it was but added just a little line of glitter around the image- in real life it looks so sweet. The bow I made with some SU ribbon and a button, I made a bunch of these up ahead of time as I think they are a great compliment to any vintage card (don't you think?).
Well off I go- have a great day and I hope you are getting your Christmas cards done.

Decking the Halls
Happy Tuesday!
Are you all getting things together for Thanksgiving? I am so looking forward to some stuffing, mashed potato and gravy (yummy!). Plus the fact that I only have 2 more days of work, oh and then there is Black Friday. Do you Black Friday shop?
Today's card I made following the There She Goes sketch. It is a nice and simple sketch- check it out! Do you see that little bit of burlap ribbon sticking out- yep, gotta add it especially with that awesome cobbler cardstock. I am also submitting for the YNS Challenge.
Wishing you a great week!

Holiday Thanks
Happy Monday! There is a fun challenge going on over at Your Next Stamp. This is my first time to participate and I don't have any of their cute stamps yet but made a Thank You card all the same. I figured I would need some winter/holiday thank you's to send.
Have a great week!

Like a Peacock
Good Morning. This weekend has gone by so fast but I did get alot of crafting done! I love when I can actually get a fair amount done and feel like I was able to use a bunch of my goodies. This card was made to participate in the Just Rite challenge which was a color challenge to use colors like a peacock (iris, peacock and blue) which yep, it was very difficult for me! I just don't feel like the colors fit together really well but this did turn out to be a pretty, with a little glitter around the JR label/sentiment.
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Sexy Little Helper
Hello- welcome back again!
I got this sexy santa helper stamp this last year and I was so excited to stamp her up. Isn't she the cutest (reminds me of me, LOL!) It was so fun last weekend to get my copic markers out and play, it has been a few months. I definately need to pull 'em out more!
Here is a close up of her... lots of glitter and sas! I have a couple of friends that will be perfect for this card. I have another one colored and ready to turn into a card soon.
Have a great weekend!

Silver or Gold??
Happy Thursday!
It has been a very busy week here but I am still plugging along with my Christmas cards. Are you done?
This card is based on the challenge over at Our Daily Bread which is to use silver or gold. I usually find these colors difficult to use, typically I use it for a wedding or anniversary card and that is about it. So for me, this was a challenge! I wanted the card to be easy to replicate but look elegant. I used a couple trees and some thick glitter...... I hope you enjoy it- and have fun creating!

Peace on Earth
Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, it was an absolutely beautiful here in Michigan. I was able to wash my car and do some crafting.... it doesn't get better than that, does it? Well it probably does if you do not have to wash the car.
While crafting I decided to participate again in the skipping stones challenge. It is a simple challenge but I really struggled with it. The girls over there made it look so darned easy but me, yikes. So here goes my end results. I am working on Christmas cards so I figured I would stick to that theme: one more card down!
I hope you all have a blessed week!

Birthday Wishes
Hello! And welcome to another fabulous week (right?). I hope that all my US friends are planning on voting today and/or have cast their absentee ballot. It is most exciting for me because my oldest is voting for the first time!
Today I am back with a fun little sketch from Waltzingmouse. When I first saw the sketch I was thinking a hanging ornament but then when I pulled out my WM stamps I realized I didn't have a stamp other than sentiments for a dangling ornament so I went with an elegant birthday wish. The label image is a waltzingmouse- these are going to be a "go to" set since I love this particular spellbinder! I have also made it so that a gift card can be tucked inside (making it that much more special!). I do hope you have a wonderful week!

You Did.... I am thankful!
Hello and Happy Monday! This weekend I worked on this little number for the Flourishes challenge this week. We were to have our image go "off the page" Now I find this a little difficult to do because well, I guess it just makes sense to have the entire image on the card right? But I pulled out these beautiful little flowers and thought they would be perfect for this challenge: adding a special sentiment and spritz and it all made sense.
Have a wonderful day!

Bra's are like Friends
I do hope that you have all had a wonderful weekend and an extra hour of rest! I got to do some crafty shopping and then some crafting so I am a happy camper.
I joined the Skipping Stone challenge #152, thinking I would stick with their retro theme I grabbed my Lilybee patterned paper which ended up coordinating with the whimsical fun bra set from skipping stones.
So that is it for me everyone- have a splendid week!

A Recipe Challenge........
Hello again! Well it is officially fall here, how do I know this? I spent alot of time raking leaves this weekend and cleaning out the flower beds for the fall. The fountain got put away, the canopy off the porch and well more raking! It was quite a busy weekend but the yard looked awesome (for a short time).
But I did sneak in some time for this little ODBD card: their challenge is to make a card using the recipe LEAF- Lace border, embossing, flower/fabric.

Gaze Upon Beauty
Welcome back today!
I got a few minutes last night to catch up on a few little challenges. This is skipping stones sketch and I used some pretty little authentique papers and some nestabilities all layered.
Right now I am building up some inspirational cards to give to my mother so you will probably be seeing a few coming in the near future.

Happy Saturday Evening!
I can not believe it has been several days since I posted. I have quite a few projects that I have not taken photos of and/or gotten loaded onto my computer. I am a bit behind I guess you may say.
So this little birthday card is one I made for my masculine stash. I love the medallion and ribbon look! I will be back this week with some cute little numbers, promise!

Flower Power and a sketch............
I have had a busy week so I have not had a chance to do any creating but this romantic little birthday card is one I created this weekend. I set to going through my favorite challenges and settled on this sketch by The Sweet Shop and incorporated a Just Rite stamp and 3 flowers. Is this not a romantic birthday card (for Flourishes Challenge)?
Have a wonderful week!

A Little Holiday Wish!
Hello- this weekend I got a short time to create and decided to join the skipping stones challenge again this week. The sketch is cute and I thought it would work well with this little christmas number. It is late now so I will keep it short. Have a great week my friends!

Witchy witch!
Hello and welcome back again. Today's card was made for the Cheery Lynn challenge (to use corner dies) and There she goes (Halloween). Do you see mine? Ok, well I didn't use it traditionally. Instead I made 4 of them and turned it into a full spider web. But if you recall, last week I used one of the corners- so it makes this die so so versatile! I love it- you will too!

Not so sure............
Ok, so I was experimenting and this is what I made. I stuck to it because for some reason it was interesting to me. I was trying to make a bow and well, not sure if I succeeded but it is a bow kind of star. LOL! I did think it was bright and cheerful and would still bring a smile to someone.
Thanks for stopping in!

Potions
Hello and Happy Wednesday! Hump Day Ladies!
Today's card is my take on the Skipping Stones sketch for this week. Ah yes, another Halloween card too! But guess what? I am also addressing envelopes to put my cards in the mail tomorrow! Yeah for me! And that awesome spider web, which you will see again next week, is Cheery Lynn.
I hope you have your Halloween cards done too!
Have a great one- Heidi

3X As Much Fun
Happy Sunday!!!
I know I am a bit later but I am just running behind, had to wait for daylight to photo my cards and that didn't happen until after church. This is a card I made for WCMD yesterday but entering it into the Just Rite Challenge 83 to use 3 coordinating designer papers and a JR stamp. I love this set that matches the Spellbinder Labels. It is so pretty and vintage and can be used for a variety of types of cards. I also had to use my MS punch- love the look I get with that medallion.

Just Believe
Ah..... do you feel the tension release from your shoulders now that it is the weekend? Mine has, even though I have tons of laundry to do and that laundry fairy has not shown up for another week. LOL!
The other night I set to make some breast cancer awareness cards and this is another very simple and clean one that I made. I was thinking about it and truly it could be for anyone that has survived any type of cancer. Well, given it is a woman (the PINK card). I have a couple of friends that I want to send cards to so one will get this one.

Stars, Dots, and Stripes......
Happy Friday
I love this card. This sketch is from skipping stones design and at first I thought it would be difficult but after I pulled out the papers I knew it would be a masculine birthday card. What goes better with stripes and dots than stars? I can now add this one to my stash of masculine birthday cards.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Survivor
Happy Thursday! Ah, you know what that means right? Tomorrow is Friday, oh yeah! I am so excited. After sleeping all last weekend I am hoping to do some fun stuff this weekend and yes, some housework.
But on to a more sensitive note, as you know this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and over at Flourishes they are challenging us to use PINK (Uh, is that my favorite color or what?). So this is my card and I struggled so much with the color on this card. The card is cream, pink and black and for some reason it just didn't look as clean and crisp. I am so sorry. But the card in person is so pretty.
I hope you will join us and give someone that is a survivor a big hug!

Happy Haunting
I typically will make a special card for my mother and last year she got me the pumpkin border so I wanted to start with that. Then of course, I got these fabulous Cheery Lynn dies (tree, fence) and had to make a scene out of all my goodies. The little ghost is something I got at a local store and it fit so well in that tree. I always laugh because it says happy haunting and geesh, does anything on this card look scary or haunting? Not...... I can never make a scary card.

Flowers to Thank You
Happy Monday!!
I hope you are all doing wonderful: I was laid up this weekend but I was able to squeak this card out in time for the Skipping stones challenge. The sketch is awesome and I knew as soon as I saw it I knew it was going to look like this....
I hope you all enjoy it.

Old Time Christmas
Hello! Doesn't this card look vintage? I love this stamp set from Waltzingmouse, it has several sentiments and they all look so vintage/retro. The little jingle bells are a MS punch and I love it because I can use this with an assortment of colors. I have some I made out of some silver shimmer paper and they are gorgeous! You will see some in the future for future.
Ok, finished my first full week at my new job so I have not been on much-sorry. I hope you have a great weekend!

Sunshine Post!
Happy Monday!
Who in your life brings you sunshine? Well my first thought is my kids, not that they bring it to me daily but overall. (grin). This set is from Waltzingmouse and this is their #116 sketch this week- it fell together so naturally on this one. I know I used that autentique again but once I had it out I had to work with it a little bit more. I also got a bunch of PTI buttons- love all their shapes, styles and some of them have little writings on them. So I tucked a grey one on there.
I start a new job today so off I go to my new adventure.

Blessings are Flowing....
Happy Sunday! Well we here are praying and hoping for some blessings this week, a specific one in fact. So I was thinking of that when I was making this card. I just love the yellow and grey combination with this Authentique paper pad.
The sketch for this card is from the Sweet Stop and I am entering this card in their challenge. I think that the banners are awesome and how awesome is 4 banners on one card! I will be saving this sketch for the future.
Have a Blessed Day!

Skipping Halloween
Happy Spooky Saturday! (hee hee!)
Ok, so Christmas earlier in the week and now Halloween? Yep, I gotta back up a little and re-organize my priorities and get on track for my card making schedule. What cards are you working on now?
This card is made for the skipping stones sketch challenge this week as well as using twine/trim for the Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge.

THANKFUL for you!
Hello, another fun and "pretty" card that I made a week or so ago. I have been very slow at getting my posts up in time for challenges but it is funny because I am actually crafting- so why can I not get myself together??? Ugh, not sure what it is.
Anyways- I got this punch a few weeks ago and love how it looks layered, letting the paper peak through. It is very elegant don't you think? The flower is Verve and the leaves are spellbinder.
Have a wonderful week!

Country Christmas
Hello everyone!
Can you believe I am making Christmas cards already? I saw this Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge sketch and knew I wanted to go countryish christmas. So I pulled out this yummy Authentique paper pack and went to work. I also got to use my SU nestabilities which have been sitting there for at least 3 weeks.
I hope you will join us this week!

Celebrate in Circles
Hello my friends! I hope this Tuesday finds you all doing wonderfully. It has finally cooled down considerably here in Michigan and is a nice change, the days are just beautiful, sunny and refreshing. Love it..... and that is alot from a gal who loves the temperatures in the 80's!
So this little number is a birthday card for Waltzingmouse challenge a week or so ago (once again, late!). But I loved all the fun prints.. and the circles of course.
