Mini Album Display Box

Ah- hello everyone!   So today's project is pretty special to me.  It is one of the Off the Page items that Gina has over at Gina's Designs.  It is the mini album display box and comes with the little display box with the drawer and supplies to make 4 albums (as you will see I have made 2 of them).
Here is a photo showing the little drawer open, this is a solid drawer and so fun to fill with little drinkets and I lined it with a doily (you know how much I love them!)
Here is a photo of the top of my box, added a few little vintage items.  The doily is one of the larger sets that Gina carries in the store but you can get them in several sizes.
I decided to lightly decorate the sides of the display box with some dress forms
Here are the little albums that I put together and decorated.  The albums are little accordian style so you have the chipboard album and then you can add pages.  For mine I used one of the hinge straps,  Words & Phrases I and labels

I do hope you enjoy this project as much as I have- it really is a little treasure to keep or give away!

Dream and Journal

Hello- Heidi here again with just a quick project. I had some composition books laying around and just had to alter one with some of the fun pieces from Gina's Designs.

It really is just a couple of vintage prints, some ribbon and burlap and a whole lot of fun coming out of the little envelope on the front.

Double Dose.....

It has been awhile since I have been able to do a random, as in challenge, card or project so I was excited to get some time this evening.  I decided to participate in the Cheery Lynn challenge and the MoJo challenge. I knew I was going to be needing a manly birthday card soon and so I set to this vintagy patriotic card.

Hope you have a great week!

Gina's Designs TAGS

Hello all my friends and followers!  I hope all you mother's had a wonderful Mother's Day!   I got to do a little creating and made these 2 pretty vintage tags.
Here is the first one a little closer in which I used the key, a hinge and the clock/hand. I left all of these pieces bare which I typically do not do but for these two tags it was a perfect fit.  That little square there by the key?  That is an embellishment I made this weekend at the Mega Meet.  It is a cute little print on paper with an acrylic pebble on it.
Then there is this little tag and I used the bird with the flourish, a flourish and the beautiful (and oh so my favorite) doilies!

you INSPIRE me 2

Good Morning my dear crafty visitors.  This weekend I got to get crafty and make a couple of Mother's Day cards.  I know I only need 2 but then I thought I might take a handful into work and see if anyone is in need. The 2 that I made this weekend I just love, they are so shabby and vintage, just really pretty cards (if I don't say so myself).  This one I made using just the designer paper and stamping the sentiments.  The dies are Cheery Lynn.

Are you done with your Mother's Day Cards?

Gina's Designs Artist Trading Project

Happy Weekend !!
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  We started our weekend out with a 10am showing of Tony Stark (gotta love me some IronMan!)  and then I did yard work (insert sad face).  No really, needed to be done and now more is done and I feel better.  My mother tells me each time we talk how much yard work she has done and puts me to shame (she is in her 70's!) so I had to get out there and mow, rake, and feed the lawn).   But I do have a project for you today.

I have seen Artist Trading card and have dabbled with some smaller tags/items but never really focus on these.  But Gina brought out these adorable little artist trading boxes and so of course I had to give it a go. I mean what is a box without the cards, right?  So I decorated the clock box, painted and sanded it and added some clock parts to give it depth.

So here is my take on a couple of Artist Trading cards, put together with LOTS of Gina's Designs chipboard pieces.  The butterfly on the left is painted and covered in glass effects.  The sprockets and key are all painted different colors and then I added some glass drops for texture on this one.  I think that they turned out quite well and fit in the box as you can see in the top photo- so a box of Artist Trading Cards!
