I had seen this cupcake a couple months ago over on Claudia's blog and thought it was just so sweet but was afraid to give it a try because it looked complicated. But this weekend................ well, as you can see!
And surprise- it is a gift card too! Isn't it just the cutest? I am not sure who will get it this year but I think that after all the work, it will need to be someone special. It took me at least 1.5hr to complete this, I know, alittle slow but what can I say?
So here is a close up of the top of the cupcake. When I showed it to my son he said, "Uh, why do you have flowers on the top of your cupcake?" Oh they just don't get it do they? I thought it was so pretty and then I added a little bit of stickles to make it shimmer.
I think that I am going to hide a little Christmas present inside her this year for someone special. Heidi

ABC Challenge: Sewing (I had to sew/stitch the ribbons)
A spoonful of sugar: anything goes

Holy Smokes!! Girl, you completely outdid yourself on this one . . . that cupcake is out of this world gorgeous! And you're right - they just don't get it!
