Hello my dear friends and thank you for stopping in today. Today's project is one of my Gina's Designs projects. Now you know that I loved all those Romantic Chipboard but I decided to pull out another package but still sticking to the romantic side of things- birdcages? Well I don't know, I guess maybe it is just me but this seems romantic with a birdcage and butterflies. The birdcage is from the ornamental birdcages pack and butterflies can be found in butterflies and dragonflies.
The project itself is a 3D frame that I made using 3 old wooden frames that I had in a box in the back room. Are you like me, have a box of them? So I painted them all with some white paint, then I used a bit of sandpaper to distress it and then I glued them together. The flowers are from Wild Orchid, will probably need to get some more soon! The birdcage is painted with TH crackle paint, now I painted it the first time and then used my embossing tool to heat it up and then put another layer on it and let it dry overnight- it just gave it a more authentique look. The butterflies I spray painted with my copic painter in a couple color of pink.
I hope you will stop back soon!
Heidi
