Hello and happy birthday! Today's card is a little hanglar that I got, yep I actually got my hands on a little set of these sweeties! I love them- aren't they cute? The DSP is some more October Afternoon. The card itself is a big buckle card (always find them fun) and I had not made one in such a long time. So this week I am challenging you to either make a buckle card or make a type of card that you really enjoy but have not made in a long time! Now go forth and craft! 
I got this image from my blogging friend Tammi and I just love her. I had this beautiful flower soft paper and knew I wanted to use it for a Mother's Day card- so I matched up my copic markers and went to work. I used the nesties deckled edge and then I sponged it before removing the nesties. The decorative piece behind it is one of the nesties pendants in baha breeze, I just love the sweet little setting it made and with another one you could actually use it to frame the entire image! Then I added the little angel charm as a sweet little gift.
The image is a hanglar that someone sent to me- they are just the cutest little people aren't they? I think that I almost like them a tad bit more than the magnolia people but of course, we can't get em here in the states. I colored him with my copic markers and then popped him up a bit so he is 3D. The card is cute and I am going to add a sentiment yet- just deciding which one to add.
I am getting ready to go on vacation but thought I would give myself a challenge and make a couple cards this week. So this one is one for the Friday Sketcher Challenge and although I am late I am going to post it anyways. This is a Hanglar stamp that my friend Karin sent to me, some K&Co paper layered on chocolate SU cardstock. I colored her with my copics- used some orange ribbon and the eyelet brads. One thing about those brads, I have a couple packages and I rarely use then and yet they are so cute! My with love is handwritten which I do like to do but is what I wanted.
Now this second card is one I made for the Spoonful of Sugar challenge using one of the sweetest stamps. This reminds me of when I was little and I always wanted to take my cats for a ride on my bike. You might recognize the colors from a card I made a couple weeks ago- I really wanted to use this paper up because I really liked it. The flowers I made with my sizzlit in my sizzix-
Tomorrow I am off on vacation ladies, I will not be around a computer and therefore I will not be back online to post again until at least 8/31. I hope you all enjoy your week (I am pretty sure I will) and look forward to posting in a week or so. I am coming upon 11,000 hits and since I didn't do a 10,000 candy I will do one when I return.

Today's card is so bright and cheerful, even my hubby really likes her. She is a Hanglar image that I got from my friend Claudia and I chose a bright color DP which is K&Co and so I wanted her to match the orange in the paper. I colored her with my copic markers. I used pumpkin pie for the scallop/embossed rectangle and to matte the blue. The ribbon is also pumpkin pie from SU. The sentiment is a SU sentiment. This card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 which I find accomodates the larger images so well and gives me a change.
