A Recipe Challenge........

Hello again!  Well it is officially fall here, how do I know this?  I spent alot of time raking leaves this weekend and cleaning out the flower beds for the fall.  The fountain got put away, the canopy off the porch and well more raking!  It was quite a busy weekend but the yard looked awesome (for a short time).

But I did sneak in some time for this little ODBD card: their challenge is to make a card using the recipe LEAF- Lace border, embossing, flower/fabric.

Gaze Upon Beauty

Welcome back today!

I got a few minutes last night to catch up on a few little challenges.  This is skipping stones sketch and I used some pretty little authentique papers and some nestabilities all layered.

Right now I am building up some inspirational cards to give to my mother so you will probably be seeing a few coming in the near future.

Happy Saturday Evening!

I can not believe it has been several days since I posted. I have quite a few projects that I have not taken photos of and/or gotten loaded onto my computer. I am a bit behind I guess you may say.

So this little birthday card is one I made for my masculine stash.  I love the medallion and ribbon look!  I will be back this week with some cute little numbers, promise!

Flower Power and a sketch............

I have had a busy week so I have not had a chance to do any creating but this romantic little birthday card is one I created this weekend.  I set to going through my favorite challenges and settled on this sketch by The Sweet Shop and incorporated a Just Rite stamp and 3 flowers. Is this not a romantic birthday card (for Flourishes Challenge)?

Have a wonderful week!

A Little Holiday Wish!

Hello-  this weekend I got a short time to create and decided to join the skipping stones challenge again this week. The sketch is cute and I thought it would work well with this little christmas number. It is late now so I will keep it short.  Have a great week my friends!

Witchy witch!

Hello and welcome back again.  Today's card was made for the Cheery Lynn challenge (to use corner dies) and There she goes (Halloween).  Do you see mine?  Ok, well I didn't use it traditionally.  Instead I made 4 of them and turned it into a full spider web.  But if you recall, last week I used one of the corners- so it makes this die so so versatile!  I love it- you will too!

Not so sure............

Ok, so I was experimenting and this is what I made. I stuck to it because for some reason it was interesting to me.  I was trying to make a bow and well, not sure if I succeeded but it is a bow kind of star.  LOL!   I did think it was bright and cheerful and would still bring a smile to someone.

Thanks for stopping in!

Potions

Hello and Happy Wednesday! Hump Day Ladies!

Today's card is my take on the Skipping Stones sketch for this week. Ah yes,  another Halloween card too! But guess what?  I am also addressing envelopes to put my cards in the mail tomorrow!  Yeah for me!  And that awesome spider web, which you will see again next week, is Cheery Lynn

I hope you have your Halloween cards done too!

Have a great one- Heidi

3X As Much Fun

Happy Sunday!!!

I know I am a bit later but I am just running behind, had to wait for daylight to photo my cards and that didn't happen until after church.   This is a card I made for WCMD yesterday but entering it into the Just Rite Challenge 83 to use 3 coordinating designer papers and a JR stamp.  I love this set that matches the Spellbinder Labels.  It is so pretty and vintage and can be used for a variety of types of cards.  I also had to use my MS punch- love the look I get with that medallion.

Just Believe

Ah.....  do you feel the tension release from your shoulders now that it is the weekend?   Mine has, even though I have tons of laundry to do and that laundry fairy has not shown up for another week.  LOL!

The other night I set to make some breast cancer awareness cards and this is another very simple and clean one that I made.  I was thinking about it and truly it could be for anyone that has survived any type of cancer.  Well, given it is a woman (the PINK card).  I have a couple of friends that I want to send cards to so one will get this one.

Stars, Dots, and Stripes......

Happy Friday

I love this card.  This sketch is from skipping stones design and at first I thought it would be difficult but after I pulled out the papers I knew it would be a masculine birthday card. What goes better with stripes and dots than stars?  I can now add this one to my stash of masculine birthday cards.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Survivor

Happy Thursday!  Ah, you know what that means right?   Tomorrow is Friday, oh yeah!  I am so excited.  After sleeping all last weekend I am hoping to do some fun stuff this weekend and yes, some housework.

But on to a more sensitive note, as you know this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and over at Flourishes they are challenging us to use PINK (Uh, is that my favorite color or what?).  So this is my card and I struggled so much with the color on this card. The card is cream, pink and black and for some reason it just didn't look as clean and crisp.  I am so sorry.  But the card in person is so pretty.

I hope you will join us and give someone that is a survivor a big hug!

Happy Haunting

I typically will make a special card for my mother and last year she got me the pumpkin border so I wanted to start with that.  Then of course, I got these fabulous Cheery Lynn dies (tree, fence) and had to make a scene out of all my goodies.  The little ghost is something I got at a local store and it fit so well in that tree.  I always laugh because it says happy haunting and geesh, does anything on this card look scary or haunting?  Not...... I can never make a scary card.

Anywho- have a great week!

Flowers to Thank You

Happy Monday!!

I hope you are all doing wonderful: I was laid up this weekend but I was able to squeak this card out in time for the Skipping stones challenge.  The sketch is awesome and I knew as soon as I saw it I knew it was going to look like this....

I hope you all enjoy it.
