This image is PC May I have this dance and it is stamped in memento ink and only the face and hair is colored.  So simple and elegant don't you think?

It is Wednesday again and that means it is time to display my Pixie Cottage Challenge project.  This week we have the sketch but along with that we are focusing on pastels.  

I have soooo been into little tags and so that is what I decided to make this week, in pastels of course.  I can then take the tags and add them to packages, planters or a card. 

This week I used a little lily from the Pixie Cottage line. It was not in last week but hoping Michelle will have it back in because it is is a great little staple to have for many occasions.

Happy Hump Day! 

I am thrilled as I get today off. My plan: get my son off to school, do a small work assignment (done by 7a) and then back to bed.  I like to treat myself to sleep in till 9a on my days off.  That also means I get to stay up late (I am easily entertained, right?)  

Well anyways- that is not why you are here is it?  So I will talk alittle about my card.  I pulled out Tilda for this one, I have not used any of my magnolia images I bet for at least 4 months.  But one thing that is nice about the Pixie Cottage stamps is that they work so well with the Magnolia's.  Look at this little bench with the crisp golden delicious apples!  Nice spring day with the cute little clouds in the air.  

This week over at the Pixie Cottage Challenge  there is the theme of "anything goes" and then a sketch.  You should come on over and join us this week- winner gets a prize!

Happy Wednesday!

It is time for another Challenge over at Pixie Cottage! And since we are getting closer and closer to Valentine's Day we are challenging you all to use Red! This should not be so hard as I am sure that all of you are making Valentine's cards- right? Come and join us- you have a chance to win a prize as well!

This week again I used the sketch and the challenge (red)- started with the Pixie Cottage image and started layering MS papers. Much different than the C&S from last week, Huh?

Clean and Simple!

Over at Pixie Cottage this week we are keeping it C&S. I love these types of challenges because I feel like so many times I am trying to add more layers, more prints, more embellishments. When I do the Clean and Simple they looks so.... well clean. Which I suppose is the point, right? I chose this image from Pixie Cottage-May I Have This Dance : I thought it fit the challenge so well. Anyways- I do hope you will join us!

Isn't she cute? She is a new released Pixie Cottage image that I got from Michelle and just adore this little gal. She is sweet and knows it, hence the sentiment (also Pixie Cottage). Today over at Pixie Cottage there is a sketch challenge as well as a technique: sewing. Now I am fighting with my sewing machine so I stuck to the sketch alone. I also chose one of the new faith sentiments without an image to make an elegant wedding card. The base is a brushed silver and the heart is embossed with silver. Pixie Cottage- someBunny Special!

Welcome to this Wednesday before Christmas! I hope it finds you all prepared for the holidays, gifts purchased, wrapped, cookies baked and holiday plans all set! I know I am super excited for the next couple of weeks as we will be spending some time with family and friends and that is what I love most!

This week and for the next 2 weeks over at the Pixie Cottage we are challenging you all to make something for somebody special. As I was preparing for this challenge and going through my stamps I came upon this most recent release that Michelle sent over to me and thought I would throw a little "twist" into my challenge. Last Minute Gifts

Hey! Are you like me working on Christmas gifts, cards and such? Over at Pixie Cottage that is our challenge this week- last minute gifts so come on over and join us (you can win a prize too!) Good Day! This week at Pixie Cottage our challenge is to make something that is a home decor. Not this is not something that I typically do but I thought I would give it a try this week. I combined a couple of the Pixie Cottage images( Hannah's Sled and Winter Window) and then colored them with copic markers and put them into a frame. It now sits on my mantle as I thought it turned out so sweet. I do hope that you will join us over at the challenge!

I know, I know............ you are all thinking has Heidi gone mad? She has a spring card up! Well I could not resist with this sweet little Pixie Cottage image for this weeks sketch. I am sure all the other gals will be posting Christmas and Winter cards but what is a girl to do with this little sweetie? Oh- I am so in the mood for Thanksgiving.... the turkey, dressing, and just the warm feeling the day brings (even if it is blistery!). Aren't you excited?
