Treasure you......

How would you feel if you got this card in the mail?
I personally think that I would feel very special and that is what I was hoping for.  Once again- the leaves and the sentiment are Verve for the Diva Challenge

Sunny Days..............

Hello!  I am wishing you sunny days my friends.  Here is yet another inspirational card that I made for the Verve Diva Challenge. (I told you I had to make a stack!).  I wanted to make this shabby, adding a variety of elements such as the flower, the heart, bling and a ribbon which all remind me of vintage.  I know it would be special to receive this card.  Thanks for stopping by!

Inspirational Verve

As I promised a couple of days ago- another card for the Verve Diva Dare Challenge! I just love litte flags and banners, don't you?  I am not sure who started this trend but I am all down with them.......  I added a little texture to this card and then distressed the edges with a few little tears too!  I like the blues and yellows.  Added another inspirational card to my stack-  sentiments and butterfly are Julee's (Verve).

Vintage Verve

Hello and welcome back today!  I decided to play along with the Verve Diva Dare this month with a little vintage"ness".  I actually made a couple of cards to fit this description so that I can send a little package of inspirational cards to someone special.

I like all the little elements on this card, the little tap, the vintage doily and the worn heart, mixed with the shabby edges (and of course some bling!).  The inspirational sentiment is one of Julee's Verve sets.

I will get the next one posted in a couple days! Come join the challenge too!

Sweet Chippies!!!

Hello and welcome back today!  This week I have made a couple of cards using a variety of chipboard shapes over at Gina's Designs.  I wanted to share with my card making friends how easily these can be altered/colored and added to cards.

The first card is, well just darned sweet.  These apothecary jars are adorable and come in a variety of designs and sizes.  I put pink crackle paint on the one and then used a green paint on the other and then crystal lacquer over it to make it shine.  I really just needed a simple card for someone and this was quick and easy with the chippies!
This second card uses one of the new chipboard borders sticks(you can see a couple additional styles there as well).  Once again, easy to color to coordinate with your project- plus these come in I think 12 in. so you can use for scrapbooking.  I think that you will find these to be quite beautiful and detailed.

Stop over to Gina's to see products used:
Apothecary Jars- coming SOON!

Oh happy Day!!!

Happy Wednesday, had to think about the day of the week as I had today off and got to do a little creating!  So I started with the Sunday list of challenges and Cheery Lynn was my first one. It had to incorporate "stitching"  on the card and of course use cheery lynn dies- and I got 2 of mine in here: the honecomb and the gauze.  I just got these two and I love them both! Thanks for stopping by!

Gee......

So this is my 2nd card I created for the 300th Mojo Celebration.  This sketch is so fun and creative with the different shapes and layers. Now I have NO idea how I will get that big ole' bow in an envelope but hope it puts a smile on someone's face.

Stars ..... by Heidi

Hello, Heidi here and I get to share a couple of cards I made using the Heidi's stars in Gina's store.  What better time to get to use them than the 4th of July!

This first card is a pocket card, the front piece is raised so you could put a little gift card in it or a little hershey bar.  I tucked a little freedom card and a pinwheel adorned with one of the stars/gems.  Please take note of the little embossing there in the middle, doesn't it look nice?  I never do anything like this and the card just needed a little something so I pulled out my paper crimper.  The little pinwheel is a 2x2 piece of double sided paper, cut into the middle from each corner and then bend every other one into the middle and adhere.  Easy!
The second card is made with 3 different chipboard stars from the set that you will receive.  I painted each of them with crackle paint. Here is a little closer picture of the 3 stars:
I do hope that you are inspired by these cards, it was alot of fun to make them.  I think that you will find the stars to be quite versatile for holidays, birthday and very masculine as well!

MOJO is 300!!!

It seems like since a long time that I got to just sit down and create something for a challenge.  Julee over at Verve is celebrating her 300th Mojo Monday Challenge and she is celebrating.  I have to say that I am happy for her and her success as I do enjoy me some Verve Goodness!

This card is a little untraditional- it is for a wedding that we are going to this weekend.
