Thanks!

It is another Friday- thank you!  I am so looking forward to this weekend.  I think the weather is going to change to cold, blustery again which saddens me but it will also give me some more time for crafting.

In the last couple of weeks I received a few new dies and I can't wait to get to using them.  One of them is the memory box window.  I was so excited and then realized, uh- am I on the inside or the outside? Oh well I think it is pretty anyways and I guess I will need to perfect my window cards.

Have a great weekend all!!

Tulip Birthday!

Are your tulips up?  Mine are along with the crocus and daffodils.  I just love this time of year.  So I could not resist using my new little tulip and can die from Cottage Cutz to make a little birthday card.  I could easily see these used for Easter, Spring, anything girly really.   The dies work so nice and the pieces fit together so well! If you've not tried her dies- check them out.

Pixie Wednesday

Happy Hump Day!

I do hope you are going to join us over at the Pixie Cottage Challenge this week.  It is actually my final posting.  :(   So joined the sketch and the theme (little critters).  This little bunny (girly girl buffy) is so cute and she just looked so springy dressed in her little tutu.

Stop on over and join us!

Bunny Parade

Good Morning all you crafty friends!  This week we are showcasing My Cute Stamps over on ABC Toys & Crafts.  When I saw this cute little bunny I knew I had to have it.

I started by stamping all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them in with copic markers. This is a quick and easy stamp set to use and the images are crisp.

Thank you so much for participating in the ABC DT Challenge this last month and we look forward to you joining us again next month.

Skip it (tee hee)

Good Day!
Yep, back for the 2nd day this weekend to show you another card I made yesterday for challenges.  This one is for skipping stones, I used their sketch but turned it on its side.  I think it turned out fun and whimsical.

Easter Collage

Well it is Friday- Yahoo is all I can say.  I had the day off today and got to do some crafting to catch up on some challenges.  This one here is a submission for the Cheery Lynn Challenge (Easter).  I started with a cute little spring paper and then I used one of my SU embossing folders- is that not awesome?  I am so loving the look of the embossed patterned paper.  Then I took the spellbinder oval die to make some Easter eggs!  The flourish and the butterfly are Cheery Lynn: put it all together it is gorgeous (I think).

Deconstruct Challenge

Happy Thursday!  Are you all finding the Bingo card stamps sweet?  I have been looking at getting one and I was at Archivers and saw this sweet little Bobunny one and had to snatch it up for like $4!  Oh yeah......  I was thinking after I made the card I thought I could easily circle the age if it was on the bingo card.  Right?   This card used the deconstruct sketch.

Welcome to another Pixie Cottage Wednesday Challenge Day!  The challenge is Easter but I was lost for an image so I went with the Sketch.  That is what is flexible about the challenge, you can do the theme, the sketch or both.  Come join us HERE!
This image is PC May I have this dance and it is stamped in memento ink and only the face and hair is colored.  So simple and elegant don't you think?

Sympathy

Oh don't you hate it when you need a specific card and you pull out all your wonderful creations and what?  How can I not have a sympathy card?   Yeah, I know for me it is that I find them difficult to make.  But not today- I found this sweet sketch here and loved how it turned out that I had to try a second one that was similar (but different).  These cards are fabulously easy for mass production.   You really should try them, they fit so many occasions.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Crafty Secret Week!

I think that Spring has finally arrived this last week.  I was so glad to see the sunshine and feel the wonderful temperatures in the 70's!  We did have some wild tornadoes that have wreaked havoc down the road: hoping we do not have anymore of those. Phew!

This week over at ABC Toys and Crafts we are focusing on Spring but also Crafty Secrets!  I just love this company and their natural, vintage feel.  My main focus on this card is the Crafty Secrets Stickers (which includes the sentiment, the flowers, that tiny little bird and many others). I hope that Julie will be getting them back in stock soon for you all.

Don't forget about the ABC DT Challenge going on: Spring

Starlit Birthday

Good Morning!  Today's card is an entry for the skipping stone challenge this week.  I thought at first I was going to struggle with this sketch due to the stripes but I think it all fell together really well.  I wanted to keep the card clean and a bit masculine (that means no flowers or ribbons) so that I could use it accordingly.  I hope you will stop over and join us on skipping stones

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Thursday, March 15, 2012

Hello!
This year I chose to make some St. Patrick's Day Card...  now to actually get them in the mail.  The stamp is a little dollar one from JoAnn's along with the sentiment.  Hope you have your green cards done and in the mail!

Pixie Cottage

It is Wednesday again and that means it is time to display my Pixie Cottage Challenge project.  This week we have the sketch but along with that we are focusing on pastels.
I have soooo been into little tags and so that is what I decided to make this week, in pastels of course.  I can then take the tags and add them to packages, planters or a card.
This week I used a little lily from the Pixie Cottage line. It was not in last week but hoping Michelle will have it back in because it is is a great little staple to have for many occasions.
Hope you will come and join us!

Easter Bunny Simplicity

Hello everyone! Heidi here again!
I am back with another sweet little Easter card using my jelly bean stamp set from MCS.  I can not believe how versatile this little set has been for me.  From using the jelly beans to the bunny- to putting it all together (as you will see later this month). So all I can say is sometimes simple is better.
I do hope that you will come and join us this month on our Challenge!

Mojo

Good Day!
You know, I was trying to figure out what to say about this card and you know what- what is there to say? I don't need to tell you how I stamped it, cut it..... blah blah blah.  All I can honestly tell you is that I love how it all fit together:  EP paper + MOJO sketch= sweetness.
That is it!

Things with Wings!!!!!

Hello, today is Pixie Cottage Wednesday!

Over on the Pixie Cottage Design Team Challenge we have a sketch and a challenge to use things with wings.  Of course, I headed towards the little butterflies- just loving them and with spring (hopefully) around the corner I was hoping it would lighten my days.  I am also loving the die cuts cut out of the base of the card so I used one of my cheery lynn die cuts.  The image of lillies is colored with copic markers.

Do come on over and join us this week!

Sweet as Jelly Beans!

 Happy Monday!
I hope that you stopped over yesterday and were able to get started on your Spring/Easter cards for the ABC Toys & Craft Challenge this month!  If not.............
In the meantime, I made this little Easter card with one of the MCS sets called Jelly Beans .  Now you might wonder how I made the little jelly bean machine?  I used the smallest of the nestabilities flower pots, nestabilities circle/lacy circle and then a variety of smaller punches.  I was thrilled with the way it turned out.   I stamped the jelly beans in pink/purple and then I cut some out to layer them in the glass globe.
That is it for this Monday- come join us for our challenge and show us your Spring/Easter creativity!

ABC Toys & Craft March Challenge- Spring!

Welcome to another ABC Toys & Craft Challenge!  I do hope that you will join us!  We are challenging you all to make Spring, Flower, or Easter cards.  How easy is that going to be?  Plus there is a prize give away too!

This card started with the Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder.  Then I used the nestabilities flower pot die - is that not the cutest?  Topped out the little pots with a variety of MM flowers and rhinestone brads.  I know it is not warm enough here for flowers but that card sitting on my desk cheers me up!
So?  what are you waiting for- click on it and join in the fun!

Thanks A latte.............

Hello and happy Friday!
I am once again looking forward to my weekend, my son will be home and he is on break next week!  Yahoo!
But for today's card- I am using the skipping stones challenge this week.  As soon as I saw it I knew what I was going to do with it.  I have been itching to use this cute little Verve set that I just had to have and have been neglecting.
I hope you all have a splendid Friday and weekend!

Also- check back on Sunday as ABC Toys and Crafts will be starting a new challenge- one I do think will entertain your creativity for the next 4 weeks!
