Goodwill Blog Hop

Welcome to the first GOODWILL "Power of Work" Hop. If you came from Vicki's blog you are right on track, if not you will want to go back to Dalis's blog and start at the beginning. Today finalizes a week of Power of Work which is a year long project to promote the idea of supporting your local Goodwill Store.

Our challenge to you is to use a Goodwill item in your project. Think of all the possibilities that are out there, the vintage buttons, materials- tons of things. I think that you will find alot of inspiration along the blog hop from all of the ladies.

My project is a card that I used some vintage buttons and lace on. I do love to browse a good Goodwill store as there are so many things to see. One persons "junk" can be anothers "treasure". A pot of flowers!!

Happy Hump Day! And look at this wonderful pot of flowers. Is it not most beautiful? I have been playing on the Diva Dare Challenge and got to thining- I have those wonderful flowers (although I do have to cut them out and I don't like that.... hint hint Julee) from Verve that are perfect for this challenge. I am also sure that Julee would like me to use some of her goodies- so here goes! I love this little pot: clean, simple but so springy! I hope it brings with it some wonderfully warm weather too!

What's Brewin?

Hello Everyone! Thanks for stopping in again today. Isn't this card hot? LOL! No, really I just thought that little cup of Jo was the cutest thing. Then to mix it with these wonderful October Afternoon papers. I was actually inspired by the colors/theme from the TCP Challenge this week and the MOJO Monday sketch so I put this one together last evening. I am not a coffee drinker and none of my friends are big ones either- but I am sure someone will enjoy getting it.

Picking Flowers for Mother.....

Hello- does this little guy look like he off to pick some flowers for his mother? Or maybe he is planting something for her? Hee hee................ all I know is that he has flowers on his mind! So today's card is for the ABC Design Team Challenge- which is to add flowers to your card. Yep- how is that for an easy May Challenge and a chance to win a gift certificate to the store! Happy Monday! I hope this finds you going into a good week. Over at ABC DT Challenge we are celebrating Mother's and Flowers this month. What a perfect challenge as we are making those special cards for our special mother's. I hope that you will join us- you will have a chance to win a gift certificate to the store too! Isn't this flower just beautiful? It is so perfect for coloring with copics as well, allow you to shade the flower with 2-3 colors and room to blend them. There are actually 2 flowers, the small green one and then the pink ones set with a pearl.
