So to encourage them to take them home, they all seem to be nice boys, I thought I would give them all a little idea. What do you think?

NO Garbage
I have yet another treat box for the Verve Parade. OK, I talked my son into letting me make him and his friends (all 17 and 18 year old boys) Valentine's this year. I truly miss making little treats for the classroom and well............. I don't want to embarrass him by walking into his senior class of architecture and handing out heart treats. hm......... well maybe I would but I won't.
Anyhow I asked him if I could make them all Valentine stuff and he promptly told me NO. I bribed him, told him I would fill them with LOTS of candy............. he thought momentarily and agreed. LOL. Those boys always come over and go through my pantry for candy so I knew THEY would love it. Maybe he thinks it will be fun but he did also tell me they would all throw them away. I told him I had one stipulation: they are not allowed to throw them away here at our house, they must take them home.
So to encourage them to take them home, they all seem to be nice boys, I thought I would give them all a little idea. What do you think?

That is so sweet. What a great idea, cause you know most of those kids are not thinking of mom at Valentines.

Oh- that is funny- take it home and fill it with something for your Mother. Great idea- I love your treat bag! They appreciate those treats again when they are in college, especially when they have their own apartments and candy costs them $$$!
i think it was a wonderful idea, net they'll love them, and so will your son, not that he'll ever admit it, lol
this is so very cute, great job!
enjoy *~*
How cute, I bet the boys will love them, especially the sweets inside. Your note on the bottom made me smile, I bet some of them will give to their mothers, such a great idea.
Great idea! I hope they DO fill it with goodies for mom, if not maybe for a girlfriend :)
A great idea Heidi. The boys get their treats and when done, can fill and pass on to their moms - I love that:)
Great idea Heidi, and Oh-so-cute!

HA!!! Too funny!! I'll have to remember that for when Dean is a little older! Does this work for husbands too?
So sweet!! I have a son that's a sophomore in college, and he LOVES treats. He even let me know that he wished I'd send him more cards...I thought he'd think I was smothering him. Go figure...LOL So I think this is a super idea, and it's darling, yet masculine.
What a fun mom you are! Great ideas!
LOL! Love this!! And I'll be your son's friends will, too! And their mothers ;)
