Waiting for a friend

Today's card is so bright and cheerful, even my hubby really likes her. She is a Hanglar image that I got from my friend Claudia and I chose a bright color DP which is K&Co and so I wanted her to match the orange in the paper. I colored her with my copic markers. I used pumpkin pie for the scallop/embossed rectangle and to matte the blue. The ribbon is also pumpkin pie from SU. The sentiment is a SU sentiment. This card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 which I find accomodates the larger images so well and gives me a change.
With that I will leave you for the evening, I have a couple more projects to post this week and I am playing with a couple of my new colors from SU tonight.

Heidi..your card is Gorgeous and the image is So Cute!! your coloring and papers are Fabulous!!

I use the light peach (prismacolor pencil) for the face on the Magnolia you questioned. Sometimes I use the peach if I want it darker....Have a Great Evening, Hugs, Ila
